Overall, what do these results indicate about human contributions to climate change? (20 points) Ans: 1. Before 1935, the observed temperature anomalies and the estimated anomalies from only natural forcings have relatively the same trend (The natural forcing one was slightly larger than the observed one before 1903) while, after 1935, they separated as the observed temperature became larger in positive change and the temperature from natural forcing became smaller in negative change. It means they have negative correlation after 1935.

The observed temperature keeps relatively the same trend as the temperature from total forcing till today (The total forcing one was slightly larger than the observed one before 1935), which means they have positive correlation. 3. This result shows that the human actions was not the main factor for global temperature change before 1935 while the effects from human actions became a significant factor and dominate the temperature anomalies after 1935, which means human contributed to climate change much more than natural forcing.
