I give myself a 5 out of 10. I gave myself this rating because although I eat a lot, I do not eat healthy. For the last couple of years, I have struggled to gain weight so I have tried making that up by eating more of anything which after completing this activity, I discovered that doing so is actually unhealthy for my body. From now on I will definitely try to adjust my diet to better ac- commodate my body. Using the information from Table 1, I immediately noticed that I consume fats, carbohy- drates, and sugars two times more than what is recommended for my weight and height. I know a lot of this comes from not having much time in my day to cook a meal at home because I spend a majority of my day on school and at work. It has always been easier to buy fast food but now my goal is to cut down how many fats, carbs, and sugars a consume a day. Since the long term effects of eating too many fats consist of diseases like cholesterol and heart disease (NHS, 2020), I am going to make an effort to not eat them as much because I do not want to run the risk of de- veloping any disorder or disease. The two areas I resulted well in were in fibers and proteins. In my diet, I have always made sure to include fruits, dairy, and chicken. Chicken is the only meat I eat so I make sure I in- clude enough protein in my meals. By consuming the right amount of fibers and proteins in my diet, my daily intake of fibers was 25 grams which is 3 grams above my recommended grams of 2
