The Symbolism of Colors in F. Scott Fitzgerald’s, The Great Gatsby

F. Scott Fitzgerald uses color to convey emotion, symbolism and meaning in the novel, “The Great Gatsby.” Every color has it’s own meaning and significance. These colors help readers associate words with visualizations. Without these representations, readers would not fully understand the concept of the story.
Fitzgerald uses gray to represent moral decay and/or hopelessness.
