Turning work in on time is a skill that is helpful throughout life. For example, college applications, bills, and taxes are some responsibilities that need to be turned in on time and working on this skill during school can make life easier. If I could teach elementary school students one lesson, I would teach them the importance of turning work in on time as it can help them improve organizational skills, decrease their stress, and raise their grades. Organization is extremely important in school and turning in work on time can make organizing easier. When work is turned in, there is more space in a binder to keep important notes.

It is said that “Time and Tide waits for none”. As an upcoming college freshman I need to understand the value of time to succeed in life. I have to understand that everything needs to be prioritized no matter the case. That being able to manage my time correctly will teach me discipline which is exactly what I need to get through college with the goals I have set for myself. Individuals who stick to a time plan are more likely the people who realize their goals and objectives within the shortest possible time span.
