Rylan Greason Mr. Sackett World Lit April 9, 2024 NEW Alchemist Expository Essay Within the novel “The Alchemist”, Santiago gleans about personal legend and the dialects of the world. He learns about his personal legend and dialects from a few of the instructors he meets along the way; the sheep, the king, the Alchemist, and more have made a difference for him all through his journey. Initially, Santiago was a shepherd and his flock of sheep had given him numerous teachings. Despite their stories, the sheep were completely unaware of what they truly needed and relied on food and water as sustenance.
