Lauf Junge Lauf—translated in English to Run Boy Run—is a 2013 German film adaptation of Uri Orlev’s novel Run, Boy, Run. Pepe Danquart directs the film in a way that manages to provide the viewer with a happy feeling despite many heart wrenching scenes. Every cinematic aspect flows together to create a beautiful and entertaining movie. The main character is played by Kamil Tkacz during flashbacks and Andrzej Tkacz for the rest of the movie; they put on a phenomenal performance that keeps you invested throughout the entire movie. This movie has become a personal favorite and I would highly recommend for others to see it if they have any free time. The movie follows a young Polish Jew named Srulik as he runs from the Germans and tries to survive
