“Come on kids it’s time to go up to the cabin for a weekend of fun,” said their mom Jessica, “If you guys want to make it there we have to leave now.” “Alright, here we come,” yelled down fifteen year old Katie. They gathered all of their bags, toothbrushes, and anything else that they needed and headed down the stairs. Little Jeremy has taking forever, so his dad Jeff called down to him, “Hurry up before we leave you here.” He rushed down the stairs as fast as he could. Everyone got in the car and headed up to the cabin. Their cabin was about two hours from their house, so they had to drive through many long deserted streets to get there. five feet….. zero feet. “Boom!” the car hit the tree as hard as possible. Jessica hit her head so hard on the dashboard her skull had cracked open with blood gushing everywhere. Jeff flew out the car so hard he broke the window because his seat belt wasn’t fully buckled in as he thought it was. In the back seat Katie and Jeremy were bruised up with scratches all over there from hitting the back seat so hard, but they were still safe. They were in there for thirty minutes each trying to clear their head. They sat in the shower and cried the whole time they were in their trying to remember their mom and dad. When they got out Katie made dinner for the two of them. They ate the frozen dinners she brought from the gas station. It tasted like old moldy pizza. The taste was stuck in their mouth for the whole night. All night, Katie had been thinking about everything that she could do to make sure Jeremy was safe and okay. When she turned on the tv in the living room the News was on. The News reporters were at the scene of the car accident and he said, “There are two kids missing one by the name of Katie Williams and the other by the name of Jeremy Williams with their pictures next to their names. Also, they have been missing for twenty four hours after their parents have been found dead in a car accident. If you have seen them call the number on the bottom of the screen.” Katie turned it off to cartoons right when Jeremy walked in because she didn’t want him to be worried and cry even more than he already
