This experiment was conducted to see, what is the difference between a resting heart rate in girls and boys compared to their scared heart rate. What was done to test the variable (heart rate) was I got each person in a room alone and they watched a video (“YouTube”). They were told that it’s a slide show of different videos, because most people said, "there 's going to be a pop up". In the video that was shown to them is a picture of a cat and it is on the screen for about 30 seconds then a scary woman screaming pops up. The results concluded that the majority of people’s heart rates went down. Going against the hypothesis stated.

In their support, Krantz et al did acquire informed approval from the patients. Williams et al (2000) also researched the consequence of stress on the cardiovascular system. They used 13,000 participants who were given a 10-qustion anger scale on their temper. At the time not any of the participants suffered from heart problems. Those who had the uppermost score on the anger scale were 2.7 times more likely to have suffered a heart attack than those who had scored least.

Death rates due to racial discrimination will decrease if racists are punished with jail time. As stated by Pacific Standard, an American magazine, stress is an aspect that affects both the mentality and physicality of someone in a negative way. With racists constantly bothering their victims, it can create a substantial amount of stress; Having an unhealthy mind and body caused by stress shortens a life span. Since there is a substantial amount of racism in the entire world as a whole, there are a plethora of victims who are struggling with the stress of being a target. African American women have increased the prevalence of having cardiovascular disease than white women.1 In 2004-2005, a cross-sectional study had done among 674 Black and White women aged 18-90 in Georgia.1 And the study result showed black women increased the prevalence of cardiovascular disease.1 Stress especially racial discrimination stress has a significant role in developing cardiovascular disease as well.1 African American populations unequally affected
