Some people doubt the efficiency of online courses since they think it’s harder to focus on online courses such as videos than normal courses. There is a report published from The U.S. Department of Educational and Riesinger (2017) states “this study said that classes which include online components showed better learning outcomes than those with purely face-to-face instruction.” It means that it’s doesn’t matter whether people learn from online or not. There are no facts supporting the statement that “you cannot learn as much online as in a classroom”. Everyone has their own needs for learning some people do better online in the privacy of their home where there are not any distractions, and some people need have face to face interaction in order to learn. Some people who are in online classes may learn more than those who are in a classroom. No matter what you choose the learning part is up to you and how committed you are to furthering your education.

Learning in a traditional classroom requires you to get up and get ready by a certain time. You must find a sitter, if needed, as well as find a job that will work around you school schedule. Also, if students at an online school get busy with anything else, or need longer to do an assignment than what amount of time would be given at a traditional school, then they can still finish the assignment as well as they could with their extra time. I chose to discuss Online Learning vs. Traditional Learning for this final project. Since 1999, the debate on the differences and similarities between traditional and online learning has been ongoing. Notably, this was the time when institutes began to use internet as a way of conveying distant education. Despite the differences that are there, it is worth noting that they are being narrowed down since technology is emerging prevalently. These facts beg the question; how do the two learning formats differ and what can one expect during transition to eLearning? Before seeking answers to this question, it is worth mentioning that I chose this topic because even though I am currently taking online classes, I wanted to research and learn more about the different benefits of online learning. Imagine this: A student wakes up, eager to start their day of school. When you learn in an online classroom you have the flexibility, and convenience of when you are able do your work before its due date. In some online class you have the opportunity to go at your own pace just as long as the work is submitted at the last day of the class. I have been fortunate enough to attend college in a traditional classroom setting as well as an online setting; I can say for my academic journey the online setting better suited my learning type. When I graduated high school I went to a traditional university, I did not do well and ended withdrawing and failing classes.
