Case study: Stark Air Technologies IT infrastructure upgrade             Stark Air Technologies (SAT) is a corporation that deals in smart avionics products and operates from two offices which are in Dallas and London. Due to high demand of their latest products, SAT has decided to upgrade their existing ERP infrastructure for the provision of better product and customer services. The budget estimation revealed that, hardware infrastructure upgrade costs the most, especially the new servers purchasing. This matter was brought into the notice of IT team of SAT. IT team of SAT exhibits excellent skills in software development and general infrastructure maintenance and analysis.  They analyzed the existing infrastructure; and found that Windows based servers, average capacity being used on each server is 8–12 percent only, and thus remaining capacity remains unutilized. They come up with the solution of moving the existing setup to virtual machine (VM) server technology to run multiple and isolated virtual servers on a single physical device, thus optimizing hardware usage. Each virtual server that will be installed in the same physical server operates under its own OS independently of the other VMs present. Apart from saving the major cost of infrastructure upgrade, they have proposed some risks associated with the current and new IT infrastructure, such as server data recovery management and migration of services between Dallas and London (in case of  natural disasters) for uninterrupted service provision. Case questions: Discuss with logical reasoning whether the hardware virtualization or the Para-virtualization will be more appropriate for this system? (10) You are required to propose and explain a solution for the data recovery management and live migration of services between Dallas and London. (
