Step 2

There are certain rules to be followed while writing the IUPAC name:

Firstly find the longest chain of carbon atoms called a parent chain.

Then see the substituents attached to the chain. Numbering is done in a way that near substituent gets the lowest possible number.

Each substituent is to be given a specific name and number.

The alphabetical order is followed and prefix di-, tri-, are used for the same type of substituents attachment.
