Do you have a working knowledge of the concepts "static" and "function"?
Step by step
Solved in 3 steps
- In terms of debugging and profiling, what are the challenges associated with function objects, especially when they're nested or chained?I am learning c++, and I get confused. I meet three questions, and one is asking to write a function header for a function named distance; the second question is to write the prototype for a function named distance, and the third question is to write a function call for a function named distance. I am wondering how to write different functions for these three questions? What are the differences between them? I am so confused. What does the term "operator and function overloading" mean? What are the advantages?
- Create a function in C language that takes two integers x, and y as the parameters and returns the sum and the absolute difference of both the numbers but the return type of the function should be void. You can add extra parameters to the function but the function should not return anything and should send the required values as well. Test your function for the numbers 10, and 5 inside the main function. Can the significance of function creation in programming be explained? Why do modern programming languages need to support both value and reference passing? When deciding between these two alternatives, why is it so difficult to choose only one? Your solution should address both the positives of having both and the drawbacks of having either alone.
