I'm using Logistic Regression to predict the majors of new university students (classify them). The data of existing students has 3 majors (classes): Science, Business, and Arts. The variables used for prediction are: Origin_City, HighSchool MathGrade, HighSchool_SocialScienceGrade, and HighSchool GPA. I keep getting error messages whenever I try to train the model. What is the most probable reason of the errors?

I'm using Logistic Regression to predict the majors of new university students (classify them). The
data of existing students has 3 majors (classes): Science, Business, and Arts. The variables used for
prediction are: Origin_City, HighSchool MathGrade, HighSchool_SocialScienceGrade, and
HighSchool GPA. I keep getting error messages whenever I try to train the model. What is the most
probable reason of the errors?
The Origin_City is not really relevant to a student's major.
The HighSchool_MathGrade, HighSchool_SocialScienceGrade, and HighSchool GPA are
numerical variables, and hence can't be used as predictor variables.
Logistic Regression only works on binary classification problems.
The 3 majors should be encoded into numbers, as Logistic Regression can only predict a
numerical variable.
The HighSchool grades variables need to be normalized.
