The Dove CFRB held real life examples of PR theories. The social media adverting attempt Dove posted attempting to identify beauty using a Black women in a Brown shirt, then shifting her into a White Woman was an Epic Fail! This attempt at racial inclusion or implied Beauty. Hence a perfect example of the company having no idea how insulting the depiction, as well as the negative effect it would have on the Dove brand.   Causing Black women to Boycott Dove.  Had the "Excellence Theory" been applied in the company would have taken the time to get to know, attempt to understand, build a relationship, then listen to it's minority public. After which,  Research how to effectively reach this specific group of women. Needless to say, reaching out to the masses prior to Research, and/or possibly Planning, cost the company. The CFRB also gave way to great CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) as the in this Campaign the company followed the RIPE model. After careful and diligent Research and Planning, Implementing and Evaluation, this ingenious campaign which focused not on the look, color or design of soap, or packaging, but on the multiple colors, shades and endless designs of the bodies women using their product! Instead the company  focused on the Beauty of being different! This  campaign could not have successful or extended globally without utilizing key aspects of PR Theory. Utilizing the  extensive Research conducted. in the proper order. This approach had a huge impact shifting public opinion of the Dove Brand.  The CFRB created a positive movement to see Beauty in a different and inclusive light.  I would venture to say, In CFRB Objectives were met! please help reply to this discussion post
