I have decided to attend to a concert in Limestone that it took place exactly inside the building called Carrol Auditorium. The concert was based on graduate and undergraduate students in Limestone who decided to study and learn about singing and playing instruments with their music professors while being in college. It was not like a whole concert, it was more of students of Limestone singing individually and in-group, and also playing different types of instruments as their professors played the

The La Jolla Symphony concert was held on a warm Saturday night, May 5th, and it was definitely a memorable experience, since it was the first symphony concert that I have ever attended in my life. The whole atmosphere was very engaging and the music itself was very different in an insightful way. Over the course of the concert, five pieces were played as Sameer Patel conducted. Each piece was incredibly unique in their own way and did associate themselves together and also to many of the concepts

On September 26th, 2016, I went to the Bennet Auditorium a little before 6:45 to see the SICC Showcase Concert. My roommate Isaac was performing, and he wanted to see me before the performance. Fourteen different songs were performed by various groups. Every single one had singing, but some had piano, drum, or cello accompaniment, which was pleasant. I could really tell the hard work that went into the different pieces (my roommate was constantly practicing the song “Harriet Tubman”). My favorites

On December 2nd, 2017, I attended a concert performed by the Diablo Valley College Philharmonic Orchestra. The concert, performed at the Diablo Valley College Performing Arts Center, was called A Classical British Invasion and it featured pieces that were either written by British people or were inspired by them. Since I have only listened to professional orchestras for previous concert reports, I decided to attend a college orchestra, hoping to see the differences between a professional orchestra

Concerts of any form are my version of a great escape. They provide a reality where everyone can become anyone they want to be for the allotted amount of time. There is no hierarchy that requires the audience to adjust accordingly. There is only magic, imagination and wonder. Similar in this way to all types of concerts and festivals is makeup. In makeup, ones face is a canvas that offers itself to create something beautiful. Just as the magical atmosphere is something greater than the musician

attended the choral music concert in UNC Wilmington’s recital hall. The performance consisted of a concert choir and a chamber choir with Joe Hickman as the conductor. The concert, which was entirely performed by students, had a number of instruments, like the viola, trumpet, and timpani, playing during the concert choir. I had been to very few choral music concerts in the past, so this experience expanded of my understanding of music in a new and exciting way. Throughout the concert, five pieces were

Sanci goes on to attack the artists themselves claiming that they are being too greedy and they need to cut ticket prices by half, she believes that the fans should be treated better, since we are the ones that support the artists and “not made to slave away working to be able to attend concerts”.
