In the Fall of 2015 I enrolled in the Master of Fine Arts program in fiction at Stony Brook Southampton. This is my second attempt at earning in MFA. The previous fall I enrolled in the University of San Francisco’s MFA program. Unfortunately, I was disappointed in the curriculum of the program and lack of the academic community at USF. I chose to leave USF and accepted the position of Office Manager of El Presidio Santa Barbara. Leaving USF was a difficult decision. While I loved San Francisco,
