This unit requires that you use open and closed probe questioning to interact effectively to obtain information.
You must therefore interview one person while gathering information for this industry report. The interview must be an oral interview and your assessor must have the opportunity to observe the interview. You can conduct the interviews by phone, by video conferencing, or in person. Record the evidence of the interview in the table below. Don’t forget to work with your assessor to set up a formal observation for the interview.

Can You Sell Customer Information[1]
When customers buy products through an online company, they leave a lot of information behind, including their name and address and the types of products they have viewed while browsing. Partner companies often approach businesses to buy this type of data to find out more about customers’ purchasing patterns. But is it right to sell customer information? And even if it is not sold, should it even be used in house?
