This being despite the recession of 2008, we are witnessing an increasingly cooperative and sophisticated international business working environment. While it faces scrutiny in congress currently, the agreement of the Trans-Pacific Partnership treaty was reached in October, 2015; the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership treaty is also seemingly achievable with the revival of American economy in the near future. These new agreements will set up a worldwide business rule structure that will be fulfilled by many major economies. Within this new structure, businessmen and women will face ethical issues globally despite continuing cultural and regional factors still playing a big role within these issues and decisions being made. Learning and analyzing business ethical issues within the case competition will not only assist us to become global business leaders with a deep understanding of corporate social responsibilities but also prepare us to make better decisions for our
Working in a competitive and friendly environment has always motivated me to take up new challenges and as a result I have decided to rush Delta Sigma Pi, a professional fraternity that focuses also on social connections. From my previous work experience at Ampex Restaurant Management I learned how to build and sustain relationships with my coworkers and customers. This experience provided e with an opportunity
One of the main reasons I was initially interested in Delta Sigma Pi was the professional aspect of it and how it focused on skill development and cultivating a better future. Although I have come to find over the past semester and a half that there is so much more to the fraternity than just that, business professionalism is still the fundamental cornerstone of this organization.
The binge drinking and partying of fraternities and sororities is now under the concern of the chapter locally and nationally. Every year there is a national hazing awareness week that every fraternity and sorority on every campus in America participates in. The only way to fix the problem is the educate people about the problem. To outweigh the heavy expense on a member’s pocket is the ability to apply for scholarships within a fraternity or sorority nationally. A Greek organization offers aid when needed and if cannot solely help look for other outlets for financial aid for a member. Organizations focus on education and give endless resources to members within the house and on campus. Members of Greek organizations have so much potential to become well-rounded individuals and being in these organizations helps them shape these potentials to achieve the most success as

Pursuing the dream of obtaining membership into the First Intercollegiate Greek Fraternity for African Americans, Alpha Phi Alpha, Inc. is one of very few ultimate goals in my life. An organization that was founded to stimulate the ambitions of its members and prepare them for great usefulness within the community has since become one of the most well respected organizations in America. Over one hundred years later, the pivotal movement in 1906 has spread to over the entire country in different collegiate chapters and cities across America and the impact has been tremendous. Alpha Phi Alpha, Inc. was vaguely introduced to me as a child but it did not take effect until I started school at Southern University and A&M College in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
While not trying to lose focus on the research at hand, as a graduate of a PWI and a current employee of an HBCU, it is evident that stipulations are more lenient at the HBCU institution. This study attempts to answer the question, “What impact and influences does fraternities and sororities have on individuals’ attitudes and behaviors, both undergraduate and post graduate. The research questions were given to members of a BGLO from a PWI or HBCU that were currently an undergraduate or post graduate. Members of Alpha Phi Alpha, Kappa Alpha Psi, Phi Beta Sigma, Alpha Kappa Alpha, Delta Sigma Theta, Zeta Phi Beta, and Sigma Gamma Rho were given research questions to answer to conduct this
The purpose of Alpha Kappa Alpha is to promote leadership, knowledge, and service not only among our community, but within the world. I believe that participation and unity is the key that opens the doors to this sorority. Alpha Kappa Alpha has the aspiration to change the lives of many while creating positive bonds that last a lifetime. As a college student, I have been very active in my community within the last four years. I am currently a part of many organizations that display acts of community service: Francis Marion Diplomats , where we provided knowledge and understanding to upcoming students of the university on the insights of our school and how her or she can impact their surroundings; Francis Marion Sociology club volunteering:
Throughout my life, the relationships that I had with my two older brothers were always distant, even to this day. Growing up without an actual connection with my own brothers made me long a bond of brotherhood. The talk of brotherhood and bonds that last a lifetime resonated with me and caused me to want to learn more. The aspect if brotherhood where you are able to rely and depend on a certain group of men for almost anything while at the same time you know them on a truly personal level is, I believe, one of the most important qualities of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Incorporated. I began to understand knew that Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Incorporated is where I would be able to cultivate these bonds. I want to become a brother because I long for this
Sororities and fraternities host many events throughout the school year. Many outsiders see this as a way for the members to collide and party but they often don’t acknowledge that many of these get togethers are in support of a charity or other philanthropy institution. This tradition is

Sigma Kappa is one of the 26 National Panhellenic Conference sororities. Sigma Kappa’s values include personal growth, friendship, service and loyalty. Through participation in this sorority I also have learned interpersonal skills from people of diverse backgrounds and the teamwork necessary to have a successful organization. I have seen the philanthropic needs in our society and understand the value of community involvement. As a member of Sigma Kappa, our main philanthropy is gerontology with an emphasis on funding Alzheimer’s

Fraternities have a very misconstrued reputation in our society today. They are known to be rowdy, inappropriate, and extremely disrespectful. A well-known business fraternity, Delta Sigma Pi, takes a step out of these characteristics. They describes themselves as, “a professional fraternity organized to foster the study of business in universities; to encourage scholarship, social activity and the association of students for their mutual advancement by research and practice” (Delta Sigma Pi’s Purpose, Mission, and Core Values).
Since the beginning of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated, Alpha Men have lived up to the high standards the fraternity has set for its members.
