Introduction
In face of fierce competition and increasing survival pressure, it has been realized that the striking role of creativity and its application in the operation and management of modern organization should be attached with more attention (Tierney and Farmer, 2002). The inspiration and cultivation of creativity has been considered to be one of the most important features of not only individuals but also enterprises for that creativity may bring in with new changes and different possibilities in a variety of ways. In this essay, it will firstly present the differentiating between the concept of creativity and innovation. Following this, it will make use of a practical example to illustrate the application of creative solutions in face of problems and the potential opportunities that might be brought by these creative solutions. In the next part, it will provide suggestions on how to create creative culture within the organization and some potential barriers in the process.

Alongside the entrepreneur spirit, Innovation is the process of taking new ideas and implementing them into the market. Key word being “new”, an innovation can be sometimes viewed as the application to better solutions that meet new demand-requirements, inarticulated needs or existing market needs. Innovative ideas range from: goods, services, products, processes, services, technologies or ideas that create value for which customers will pay for. For an idea to be an innovation, it must be replicable at an economical cost and must satisfy a specific need. This means is that one must be ready and willing put their new idea to the test. On the other hand, there is recognition that “innovation is also critical to cultural, environmental, social, and artistic progress as well” (Bullinger, 2006). With this stated, high-tech innovation is ultimately the reason why we can be thankful for the many new conveniences of the 21st century. In today’s rapidly changing business environment, the ability to transform obstacles into opportunities can be a firm’s biggest advantage (Samašonok & Leškienė, 2015). As organizations recognize the need to be adaptable, creativity in the workplace has become one of the most important determinants of performance and success (Anderson, Potočnik & Zhou, 2014). To date, even though creativity has been linked to firm performance and survival (Nystrom, 1990), many managers admit that employees have “room to improve” in terms of creativity (Shalley, 2004).

They recognise that creativity and creative thinkers are needed in all areas of business, whether it be scientists and medical researchers needing to find new ways to cure illnesses or teachers and educators thinking of new and interesting ways in educating students to learn. They believe that creativity is and the ability to think out of the status quo is what will make amazing things happen.

The term creativity is used for the purpose of describing the ability that is concerned with the process of creating something new or valuable. This ability allows a person to surpass the rules, practices, methods, forms or similar kind of activities that the traditional society may be performing at that time. Creativity is one of the most important things that have allowed the people of the society to move forward and urge for development. All the development that has been made in various aspects of human life can be directly connected with the creativity. All the industry leaders of the world have secured this place because of the level of creativity and innovation that they showed. Creativity details about addressing question by another acceptable way. As for one organization, there will some new and tricky problem in new market and we cannot address it by one usual way. Hence being creative is significant in one organization. Also, it will improve people to enhance their self-worth and self-confidence if someone take creativity.
To make a business grow and achieve productive and efficient results you need to invoke creativity which has always been an essential business skill. Since long time creativity has been applied to a business world as companies seek to use it in all parts of the organization to make it gain more profits and to be exceptional from others. Change, creativity and innovation are essential elements for survival and growth of an organization. Creativity is vital for the birth of fresh and beneficial ideas. Creative thinking allows groups and individuals to solve problems or stimulate to think differently in order to bring forth fruitful ideas. The above mentioned creative thinking enabled our team of six different personalities to come together and implement a plan to solve a complex problem in a hospital. Our assigned task was to recommend a plan in order to alleviate hospital readmission among elderly population within thirty days of discharge. In this paper the author is narrating the team dynamics, functionalities and personal competencies in the process of recommending a change in the system. As a member in the innovation leadership team the author is also reflecting on the assessment, capacity for innovation in the organization which is the hospital where the team is assigned.
