Hello Mrs. Fry. This is Jacob Smith writing for Mrs. Soukup’s LA8 class. I am writing to tell you that I think that North Central Junior High should have school uniforms. Here are some reasons why; Uniforms would enhance school pride, unity, and community spirit, uniforms would prevent a large amount of bullying, and uniforms would save money for students and their families. First, school uniforms would enhance school pride, unity, and community spirit by making everyone feel like they belong and fit in with their school. Throughout the school, teachers would increase their level of caring, respect, and trust of students. Additionally students would feel important and as if they are a part of a team by wearing a uniform. Second, school uniforms
Inappropriately dressing can be distracting and interpret useful class time. School uniforms help our school system in many ways. School uniforms eliminate these issues. It helps eliminate bullying because everyone will be wearing the same. School uniforms also help students score higher on test. It helps teachers not have as many issues from students. Students feel more comfortable when they all look the same so it helps be more welcoming. School uniforms improve students’ education.
In the first place, school uniforms help students feel ecstatic or joyful people might say. Here are those reasons to back me up. Firstly, no more judging going around. Well, maybe a little bit but, not too much. For example, Joe would feel like he fits in
School uniforms should be required in every school. They are inexpensive compared to designer clothes that you traditionally see in schools. Uniforms lets you broadcast your personality but in a subtle way. I grew up wearing uniforms and it didn’t put limitations to my creativity. You’re still able to wear your regular clothes on weekends and you can still wear some of your clothes but just in modernization. This gives people a chance to know the real you. It puts away all labels and brings an equality that we as students need. This lets students be genuine and see each other inner
School uniforms is the key to a bigger, better future. The basic clothing procedure phases out many types of harassment and creates a safe learning environment. Uniforms take away harsh borders that separate classmates and create school spirit. The positive impact school uniform have on students is an overlooked opportunity we must be informed about to create the next successful generation.
No parent wants to see their kid not happy or fail a class due to not being able to pay attention because the clothing they are wearing is bothering them. They won’t be able to show their true self which will make them unhappy and they can lose concentration. Our school doesn’t have the money to afford uniforms for all the students. Getting uniforms do not solve any problems and doesn’t do any good. Uniforms will just make students unhappy and honestly just be pointless. It will not stop people from fight over stupid stuff or stop them from spreading rumors to cause drama. Uniforms do not solve any of the bigger issues. The school would have to raise a lot money somehow if they wanted uniforms because there are a lot students in our school and we just don’t have the money for that. School uniforms would make all kids feel the same by wearing the same clothes as everyone else and not being able to express themselves. This is why I think students at Preston High should not have to wear school
There are several reasons public schools should require uniforms. “School uniforms are one of several strategies being used by this nation’s public schools to restore order in the classroom and safety in the schools” (Stanley, 2). “In addition to encouraging students to concentrate on learning, rather than on what to wear, uniforms can be social equalizers that promote peer acceptances, as well as school spirit and school pride” (Stanley, 2).
These are just a few reasons why school uniforms are very effective. I strongly believe that schools not just enforce a dress code but require a uniform to help decrease bullying, and create a bond between classmates and the school. Students will not lose the form of self expression but simply find new ways to express
I think that our school should not have school uniforms. The kids do not get to have their freedom and to express themselves.
first, school uniforms shows unity among the students. When everyone wears the same type of clothing, they feel like a part of a comunity. for example: it seems like everyone is on the same page when they look the same. when a group of people look the same and/or have the same value, they feel a certen conection and co exist better. for example little itally or chinatown.
If you had the choice to wear a uniform to school, would you? Around the world many schools require school uniforms. It has been argued for many years if students should be required to wear uniforms. Research shows that school uniforms stop bullying, save money, and help deter crime. School uniforms should be worn in schools for many reasons.
Should school uniforms be permitted in all public schools? Many public schools are going to a convenient uniform system (McDermott). This would decrease the amount of money families have to spend through every year if you get all new clothes for school. Dress code would not be a problem because the uniform would be school appropriate. Changing from everyday clothes to uniforms would help reduce the amount of bullying about having a specific “popular” brand name clothing item. Having uniforms is a good idea and all schools that do not have uniforms yet should switch to them.
School uniforms in public schools have become more common throughout the United States of America Most public schools would benefit if uniforms were to be adopted and made a mandatory policy. Everyone has their own point of view, therefore we have many different opinions. When putting in consideration, both the positive and negative effects, the positive effects will always outweigh the negative. Uniforms should be required in public schools because their use would lead to less violence, better education, and expressing their middle class ages.
On the one hand, school uniforms create a school community, making everyone look alike whether if they come from different backgrounds, which reduce bullying over poor-looking students, competition over choices of fashion and peer pressure. School uniforms also represent each school, making them look unique and increase pride in their community.
School uniforms provide schools with many positive results. Uniforms help improve school greatly by insuring safety within the schools and increasing students academically. Research states
There has been a debate over whether there should be school uniforms throughout the nation. School uniforms should be utilized throughout the states in order to provide a better education, decrease peer pressure, and save a significant amount of money. Wearing school uniforms helps people be more focused on education rather than stressing out about what clothes to wear on the following day. If every student wears the same type of outfit then there should be no arguments about who has the most fashionable outfit; this would decrease the amount of peer pressure. Every year parents and guardians struggle to make enough money to buy their children the outfits that they desire to wear throughout the school year, some spend their money more on clothes than supplies. School uniforms would help them spend less money on outfits and save their money for the future. Overall school uniforms helps the development of our future generations to be prepared to lead the nation into a better state level.
