Tools: Define what platforms you would use to manage your social media. It could be Buffer, HootSuite or any tool that you feel comfortable using.
Creation of content calendars. You need one for social media content to organize and plan social media copy. Thinking about blogging? You should create an editorial calendar to plan blog content. If you’re doing a newsletter, then an email newsletter content calendar needs to be created. All three need to be updated weekly, so that the content is fresh. The second objective states I will assist development and executive staff in expanding our presence and content on various social media platforms. I began by looking up Teen Parent Connection on the web. I looked to see how far I had to scroll to find their organization. I looked at what types of social media platforms they had and if they kept them updated. I took note on how many followers and likes they had on Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube. After I had become familiar with the organization as a whole I began to take a look at similar non-profit organizations to see how they compared to one another. Being able to research other organizations made me realize what TPC was succeeding on and what they could use improvement on. My next job to fulfill my objective was to learn the fundamentals of creating and managing social presences on various media platforms. Instead of revamping their Facebook or Twitter page

Your online presence requires consistent updates on multiple social networks. That either means spending your days posting at regular intervals, or using a service like Buffer to drip them out for you. Even with such a time saving service on your side, you still need to find what you’ll be sharing and creating the schedule.
Because our audiences are relatively young, we will meet them where they are first and use social media platforms. The parents of the youth will be more used to using news media in acquiring knowledge from news media. We will also utilize online news media and print news media to gain attention from parents and create internet "buzz". For those who lack access to Internet the classic billboard method and going from school to school cannot be overlooked. The last and probably most important method we will use is a publicity event. This publicity event will tracked news media, further create an Internet Buzz, and help us gain credibility within the
For managing your social media, there really is no better tool. And I’ve tried several! If you need high-traffic, volume-account maintenance, Buffer is your tool. From Buffer, you can manage all your social accounts and then some (in our Business account, we have all our staff’s profiles hooked up, too); and schedule posts across all profiles, with the ability to tailor your messages per platform.
Now that you have your content sorted, it’s time to start creating the schedule. It’s important to have at least a month worth of content figured out – you don’t want to be scrambling for ideas.
Today the Social media requirement is not just restricted to the marketing department only. Successful and well-established businesses know this very well, and they’re in fact leveraging the social media for boosting the operations of different departments of their organizations. Usually, the first crucial step is to let your sales, HR, PR and customer service department access on the social. But only this is not enough in today’s competitive world of business. Instead, it is very important to train them with the tools that assist everyone for keeping the track of content, off-page mentions, client queries and much more.
Social Media Management: Hootsuite – Not only does it allow you to consolidate all your social media platforms to manage them in one place, but you can schedule posts well in advance.
How do you go about doing that? Well again you should go traditional if you really want to be effective and try building a relationship with a journalist or editor. Strategies should now focus more in how your company or blog/article can be tailored to meet the needs and answer the questions that your target audience is looking for. Instead of hot topics or trends, your strategy can now be more descriptive in how these trends can help the reader, in specific ways. Taking the time to creatively research this can make a great difference in the clickable views that your articles will receive. The question for every post that is made is, “Is and can this post be widely sharable or will it just take up space on your social media pages or site?” If not, one must rethink if it is relevant and interesting to the viewer. Time devoted to posting and content is precious and extremely important to not waste your
The point is, public pulse has never been more available. You do not need to scatter survey forms on the street and harass people to answer them. The talk of the town will reach virtual space. Listen to what the people are saying. Listen to what your promoters are offering. Then, strategize a plan to execute.
