Cheered her soul like dew a dusty flower.

Flashing … like scimitar from its sheath.

Like the keen prow of some on-forging ship.

Stalks shine
Like the burnished spears of a field of gold.

Sweet as are the orchards, when the fruit is hanging ripe.

Warm as sun at noon’s high hour.
