A coronet to find;
Who never thirsted, flagons
And cooling tamarind.
Can such a foot explore
The purple territories
On Pizarro’s shore?

How many colors taken
On Revolution Day?
The royal scar hast thou?
Angels, write “Promoted”
On this soldier’s brow!
