Frontaura y Váquez, Carlos (frōn-tou’rä). A Spanish story-writer and dramatist; born in Madrid, Sept. 4, 1834; died in 1910. ‘The Philanthropist,’ a comedy, and ‘Fortunes and Misfortunes of Rosita,’ a novel, illustrate his talent at its best.
