De Lancey, Edward Floyd. An American historical writer; born in Mamaroneck, NY, Oct. 23, 1821; died in 1905. He is author of ‘Documentary History of New York’ (1851); ‘The Capture of Fort Washington the Result of Treason’ (1877); and ‘Origin and History of Manors in the Province of New York.’
