Van Zile, Edward Sims. An American journalist and novelist; born at Troy, NY, May 2, 1863; died in 1931. He wrote: ‘Wanted—A Sensation’; ‘The Last of the Van Slacks’; ‘A Magnetic Man’; ‘Don Miguel, and Other Stories’; ‘The Manhattaners’; ‘Kings in Adversity’; ‘Into the Sunset’; and ‘The Game of Empires.’
