Dupuy, Eliza Ann. An American story-writer; born in Petersburg, VA, about 1814; died in New Orleans, Jan. 1881. ‘The Conspirators,’ her first novel, has Aaron Burr as the principal character. Most of her stories were published in the New York Ledger.
