Hardt, Ernst. A German dramatist and novelist; born at Grandenz, May 9, 1876; died in 1947. Among his plays are: ‘Ninon de L’Enclos’ (1905); ‘Tantris the Fool’ (1907); ‘King Solomon’ (1915). He also translated much from the French.
