Balducci, Francesco (bäl-dö’chē). An Italian poet; born at Palermo; died at Rome, 1642. He wrote ‘Sicilian Songs’ (1647), in the Sicilian dialect and ‘Rime’ (1645–47), a collection of anacreontic verse.
