Francis Greenwood Peabody (1847–1936)

Peabody, Francis Greenwood. An American theologian; born at Boston, Dec. 4, 1847; died in 1936. He was professor in Harvard University (1881–1913). Among his publications are: ‘Mornings in the College Chapel’ (1896–1907); ‘Jesus Christ and the Social Question’ (1900); ‘The Christian Life in the Modern World’ (1914).
