Scott, Frederick George. A Canadian clergyman and poet; born at Montreal, April 7, 1861; died in 1944. Canon Scott, called the “poet of the Laurentians” published: ‘The Soul’s Quest, and Other Poems’ (1888); ‘My Lattice’ (1894); ‘The Unnamed Lake’ (1897); ‘The Hymn of Empire’ (1906); ‘Collected Poems’ (1910).
