Phillips, Henry. An American writer and lawyer of Philadelphia; born there Sept. 6, 1838; died there, June 6, 1895. He wrote: ‘History of American Colonial Paper Currency’; ‘History of American Continental Paper Money’; ‘Pleasures of Numismatic Science’; ‘Poems from the Spanish and German.’
