Jean Pierre Zanotti (1674–1767)
Zanotti, Jean Pierre (zä-not’tē). A painter and poet; born of a Polish family at Paris, 1674; died at Bologna, 1767. He left a number of noted pictures; and published ‘Dido,’ a tragedy (1718); ‘Poems’ (1741); and various works on the art of painting.
