Jonge, Johannes Cornelis de (yong’ė). A Dutch historian; born in Zierikzee, May 9, 1793; died near Ryswick, June 12, 1853. Among his works are: ‘Studies in the History of the Low Countries’ (1825–27) and ‘The History of the Dutch Navy’ (1833–48).
