Porter, John Addison. An American journalist; born at New Haven, CT, April 17, 1856; died in 1900. He was editor of the Hartford Post. His works are: ‘The Corporation of Yale College’ (1885); ‘Administration of the City of Washington’ (1885); ‘Sketches of Yale Life’ (1886).
