Juan del Valle y Caviedes (1652–1692)

Valle y Caviedes, Juan del (väl’yā ē kä-vē-ā’THās). A Peruvian satirical poet; born at Lima, 1652; died there, 1692. He wrote ‘Parnassus’ Tooth,’ a model of biting satire.
