Lee Meriwether (1862–1966)

Meriwether, Lee. An American writer; born in Columbus, MS, Dec. 25, 1862; died in 1966; son of Elizabeth Avery. He is the author of: ‘A Tramp Trip: How to See Europe on Fifty Cents a Day’ (1887); ‘The Tramp at Home’; and ‘Afloat and Ashore on the Mediterranean’; ‘A Lord’s Courtship’ (1900); ‘Seeing Europe by Automobile’ (1911).
