Wilcox, Marrion. An American author and journalist; born in Augusta, GA, April 3, 1858; died in 1926. Besides contributions to magazines and periodicals, his works include: ‘Real People’ (1886); ‘Scenes in General Dayton’s Garden’ (1889); ‘A Short History of the War with Spain’ (1898); ‘Harper’s History of the War in the Philippines’ (1900).
