Thomas Kinnicut Beecher (1824–1900)
Beecher, Thomas Kinnicut. An American clergyman, son of Lyman, and brother of Henry Ward Beecher; born in Litchfield, CT, Feb. 10, 1824; died in 1900. He became pastor in Brooklyn in 1852, and in Elmira, NY, in 1854. He was a successful lecturer and an effective writer on current topics. He published in book form ‘Our Seven Churches’ (1879).
