time, what computer devices it was actually used for and what superseded it. What were
the advantages of that device compared to its contemporaries? What were its main technical
advantages or disadvantages over others that were out at the time?
You can use online sources and/or books (not Wikipedia! Although Wiki pages are generally
ok), have a look at the relevant data sheets as well. Include citations/references (within text
and citation list at the end of the document) for the main sources you got information from
(including any datasheets).
Essays should be about 3-4 A4 pages (single spaced, 11pt font, inc. diagrams, references) and
