The scope of myology and of the term muscular system, and what muscular tissues are not included in the muscular system
To analyze:
The scope of myology and muscular system.
Introduction:
Myology is the study of muscles.
Explanation of Solution
Myology is the study of the anatomy, actions and pathology of muscular system.
The muscular system, however consists of only skeletal muscles, which along with accessory structures function to put the bones and joints in useful motion.
Apart from the skeletal muscle, muscle tissues are also categorized into smooth and cardiac, that vary in their structures comparatively. These two types of tissues are not included in the terminology of muscular system. .
Myology is the study of the muscular system that includes the skeletal muscle tissues alone.
