First of all athletes are paid fairly because we are the dumb ones who buy tickets for $200 for the worst seats. Second of all if you are the star of the game you probably want some of the pay because you are the ones on the t shirts and the ones they come to watch. 3rd of all they also dedicate their whole life to the game and the sport so what if they make the money Athletes get paid very well.

I disagree with athletes receiving large amounts of money for various sports. I have many views on the money situation in the United States as of this time we’re in right now. There are people that risks their own lives every day, every hour, and every minute to give us freedom that most of us don’t deserve. America today, is a very complex, complicated society. We take so many things for granted, and we don’t even realize it. These professional football athletes receive millions of dollars each season. This is day, hour, and minute we are experiencing right now.

I believe that people that play sports in college should be paid because people in college struggle a lot for their living expenses. It is very hard in college to pay for tuition, living expenses, etc. People say that some nights they go hungry without food. I believe that it isn't fair for hard working athletes that risk getting injured to not get paid for their sports. Sport athletes should get paid more for their time in athletics because they are the reason colleges get money from the tickets and merchandise.

First and foremost, pro athletes should get paid less money than they already do. According to Bahgat, “In today’s society, one should be paid according to the jobs economic importance and their value to society” (Bahgat). Additionally, Firefighters and Police Officers get paid a fraction of sports athletes and they risk their lives everyday helping us. “Furthermore, police officers, firefighters, and doctors, save lives while risking their own for a fraction of what sports stars make” (Bahgat 1). In addition, there are people that can’t even afford food for their families and athletes are getting paid $100 million plus.
