He was one out of five children. Early in his life him and his family moved to North Carolina for a better opportunity. This is where his legacy begins! During his sophomore year Jordan tried out for his high school basketball team(Laney High School), but he was cut by his coach because according to him didn't have the size or speed at the time. Michael was devastated by this but used it as a motivation to come back next year bigger and better. Even though Michael Jordan lead the team to a series of good wins both years of High school. After the olympics were done he knew he had some work to do with his new NBA team. The Chicago Bull at the time were a joke nobody wanted to go see them play a roughly six thousand people showed up to the games during the season before michael came in.
