Looking at my personal leadership code and the values that are important to Aditya Birla Group, I see a lot of similarities along with some contrasting differences. Some of the things which I mentioned in my Leadership Code aren't mentioned in the ABG's values, but are quite implicit by some of the other values mentioned. Here is comparison of key values and their importance to me as an individual and to ABG as an organisation: 1. Integrity: It is the core quality of a successful leader. 1. Customer Satisfaction: As an individual customer satisfaction is not the most important priority to me in the list of values. While for Aditya Birla Group, customer satisfaction is the most important value. For a customer centric business like that of ABG, customers are very important and the profits of company revolve around the customer. Customer centricity is what makes a business grow and a happy customer is a satisfied customer. Though it is not important for me to be customer centric but I wouldn't mind working for a customer centric firm. 2. Accountability: For a firm, being accountable to its customer is important. A firm must take accountability of its actions which affects the customers. In case of a bad product, it becomes very important for the organisation to take accountability and recall the faulty products. 3. Passion: Passion for innovation and also keeping employees passionate is important for the organisation. Happy employees means better work culture which results in better output and hence it results in happy customers who receive better
Integrity. To me, integrity is being honest to others and to yourself. It’s to have moral uprights. It’s the state of being whole. It’s a word used to describe someone’s level of honesty. No one is gets integrity once they are born. It is developed by good influences actions. Having integrity is doing the right thing is a trustful way. Someone who has integrity means they have a moral compass that leads them in the right direction. They follow their moral judgements and do good things under all circumstances, even if no one pays attention. They would do nothing that dishonors themselves.
Integrity is more than being honest. Integrity is one of the values employers look for when selecting employees; a person with integrity carries their values with them in everything they do. To act in a manner that is morally and legally right is being a leader or person of integrity. This type of leader is consistent in doing what is right, legally and morally (Dees, 2014). One a person loses their integrity, it is almost impossible to get it back. Linnartz (2012) said integrity can be understood by how well we live and meaningfully connect our values into our daily life and work. Having integrity and having a leadership philosophy in line with good personal values will improve the relationship a leader has with colleagues. Integrity is being fair and not taking sides when someone asks for my opinion. Having the ability to truly be honest and say what is right instead of trying to placate the truth. What is integrity? This is a very complicated question with a million different ways to answers. Integrity is something that a person can possess. It is something that a structure can possess and it is something that a sport can possess among many other things. When someone is asked if they have integrity the person must think about what qualities are associated with integrity.
A person of integrity does exactly what he says and says exactly what he means. There is no conflict between his thoughts and actions. His actions are consistent with the values he professes. According to Dr. William Manninger, A building without integrity may receive structural damage, or even collapse, in a storm. Similarly, people without integrity are blown about by the winds of misfortune and destroyed by catastrophes, for they lack the firmness, solidity, and strength of character to weather any storm. This means that integrity is one of the six essential qualities that are the key to success.

Integrity is how somebody lives their life. In this life we live, we face choices every day that only we can answer. We dictate how we run our own lives, and they way we run them defines us. Integrity is doing the right thing versus the wrong thing. People, if nothing else, can always have their pride, their integrity. It is something that means a lot to some people and then nothing to others. The ones who value their integrity highly are the good people in this world, and the opposite is true for those who do not value their integrity.
It requires you to be candid and sincere with your peers, subordinates, and superiors. Integrity calls upon you to be honest and honorable in word and deed at all times. Integrity means doing the right thing even if there is no one watching. To have integrity a person must have the ability to distinguish the difference between right and wrong, so that when a controversial issue arises the right and honorable thing will be done. It is an important role in the values because if one does not have integrity they cannot be trusted on in a time of need or when you are working side by side with them in every day work. What they say cannot be taken on word alone. I usually take my integrity very seriously, and it makes me sick to think that I gave that up for something so stupid. We must have integrity because if we don’t we are untrustworthy and unreliable. These are 2 things I never want associated with my name.
Employees are essential to a well-functioning business and to provide quality service to consumers. It is important for the business to care for their staff, making sure that they are happy with working conditions etc. and this is right up there with the importance of financial matters, because customer service is another key to returning customers, and if there is not a happy worker then there won´t be good customer service.
