Global warming is having a huge effect in today’s world, and for that we must do something about it. The main causes of global warming are, burning coal and other fossil. CO2(carbon dioxide) is one of the seven greenhouse gases in our atmosphere and accounts for 84 percent of greenhouse gases produced by human activity. The majority of this is from burning fossil fuels for electricity and transportation. Our Earth is suffering because of people in China producing so much pollution to the extent that it is the number one cause of death. They can’t walk outside without a mask to help them breathe the polluted air. Livestock around the earth being the drive for the continuation of deforestation to make room for more grazing land. Lastly the threat of the ocean levels rising, causing the Earth to flood. For that we need to murder all people in china, kill all livestock, and ship some of the ocean out to space in order for us to survive global warming and put a stop to it. Killing the people in china will help the environment dramatically. Just air pollution over there can kill up to 4,000 people per day. Not only that, China is burning more coal, which is also not helping their environment. We do have the possibilities to try and put a stop to this nonsense, but there will always be people who will disagree, or fight back. Seeing that their leader isn’t the nicest among men, trying to compromise will be difficult, so an easier route would be to just kill them all by
Global Warming has been a big issue that has effects on the environment, people, and the world, and if not stopped now, the results could be catastrophic. The main cause of climate change is likely to be the result of too much carbon dioxide (CO2) in the atmosphere. CO2 creates a blanket which traps heat. Burning fossil fuels for energy, such as coal, oil, and natural gas release CO2 which impacts the atmosphere heavily. Waste management and agricultural practices also produce gases that contribute to climate change, such as methane. There are many contributing factors to climate change.
Human activities are the leading contributing factors to climate change contributing to global warming. Whether it’s driving cars or heating our homes with natural gas, we are releasing carbon dioxide into the atmosphere. According to an article written by Darryl Fears, “the planet is warming at an accelerated pace without any doubt, that humans are causing it with 95 percent certainty and that the past three decades have been the hottest since 1850.” The majority of human causes of global warming can be contributed to the increase of greenhouse gases, such as carbon dioxide, methane and nitrous oxide, into the atmosphere. Of the greenhouse gases, carbon dioxide is said to be the most considerable cause of global warming, and most carbon dioxide emissions are the result of burning fossil fuels.
Global warming is caused by several things. One of these is the release of carbon dioxide into the greenhouse gases in the atmosphere by using energy generated from burning fossil fuels.
Global warming over the past 50 years has been experiencing rising global temperatures from the human trend “greenhouse effect”. The role on human activity have produces greenhouse gasses such as carbon dioxide, methane and nitrous oxide causing much of earths temperatures rising over the past 50 years. The impacts of Global warming are fueling frequent droughts, heaver rainfall, hotter heat waves, and powerful hurricanes. Global warming occurs when greenhouse gasses, carbon dioxide, and other hazardous collect in earth’s atmosphere absorbing sunlight and solar radiation trapping heat and causing temperatures to rise. In the United states, the burning of fossil fuels to make electricity is the largest source of pollution, producing carbon dioxide. Fossil fuel burning such as coal and oil power plants are the country’s biggest polluters. The country’s second largest source of carbon pollution is transportation sector. Transportation sectors such as automobiles, planes and trains generates about 1.7 billion tons of carbon dioxide emissions a year. Due to the advancements of scientist, energy efficient technology, modernized power plants now burn less fossil fuels decreasing the emission of carbon dioxide. As a result, the effects of global warming are melting glaciers, effecting agriculture, disruption of habitats, and the spread of conditions favorable to pathogens.
Global Warming mostly occurs when carbon dioxide and other air pollutants collect and absorb sunlight and solar radiation that has bounced off the earth’s surface. Normally, this heat would leave the earth and escape into space, but the pollutants trap the heat and cause the planet to get hotter. This is what is know as the greenhouse effect. The largest source of trapped heat in the United States is the burning of fossil fuels to make electricity, this produces about 2 billion tons of CO2 every year. The second largest source of carbon pollution is in the transportation sector, which produces about 1.7 billion tons of CO2 every
Global warming has been researched for a while by scientists and they have come to conclusion that “the main cause of the current global warming trend is human expansion of the ‘greenhouse effect’” . Greenhouse gases are trapped in the Earth’s atmosphere in order to keep the Earth from becoming extremely cold. Things like coal burning causes carbon to enter the atmosphere and mix with the oxygen in the atmosphere to form carbon
Global warming refers to the rising temperature trend of the earth which has seen more noticeable temperature rises due to the increase in fossil fuels and the industrial revolution which started in the late 1970s.
Global Warming is an important topic and it’s something everyone needs to look into. It can cause a lot of problems and damage. A decade ago, the idea of global warming probably wasn’t much of a concern. In this essay, the things that will be addressed are why global warming is important- the evidence, what causes it and the effects of it, the impact how we can prevent it, and other information on it.
Global warming, the rise of average global temperatures year, after year. A serious issue yet many people fail to pay much attention to it, or even realize how much of a problem it is. Some people think it’s a hoax from lack of proof, but some scientist would argue otherwise. Human activity such as burning fossil fuels is the main contributor to global warming, as it releases large amounts of C02 into the atmosphere (May). With deforestation happening every day less, and less trees are available to absorb the C02 released into the air. The average temperatures within the US have been rising. This creates droughts, evaporation of lakes, major storms, and devastating floods (May). To combat global warming it is important to support the development of clean renewable energy, such as solar power. Not only is solar a free source of energy, it is clean in that it doesn’t emit C02, and it creates thousands of well-paying jobs. Global warming is caused by human activity, and has large devastating effects on our environment, to sustain a growing human population we must seek alternative energy such as solar power.
There are many causes for global warming; the increase in carbon dioxide is the leading major cause. Article 1 states, “CO2 absorbs heat reflected from the Earth’s surface — heat that would otherwise pass freely into space. The CO2 then releases that heat, warming the Earth’s atmosphere. As CO2 levels increase, the pace of warming accelerates. Satellite measurements confirm that less heat is escaping the atmosphere today than 40 years ago. Though other heat-trapping gases also play a role, CO2 is the primary contributor to global warming.” (ucsusa.org-art.1) The increase in carbon dioxide gases has caused the global surface temperatures to increase, by the gases trapping the extra heat inside of earth that are meant to escape and leave earth. However, while carbon dioxide is what is causing global warming, with it increasing the global surface temperature, humans is what is causing the
Scientists around the world have been researching climate change since the 1970’s. One thing most agree on is that the temperature of Earth is rising at a rapid pace and that global warming has been caused mostly by human activity. Our atmosphere contains gases that act as a blanket, because it traps heat from the sun and prevents it from escaping back into space. The trapping of the sun’s heat by these gases is known as the greenhouse effect, and the gases are called greenhouse gases. The main greenhouse gases that occur in nature are carbon dioxide, methane, and nitrous oxide. Without the greenhouse effect, earth would be too cold to support life.
Global warming is caused by CO2, air pollutants, and greenhouse gases, such as CH4 and N2O. These gases have the ability to last in the atmosphere for years and trap heat. Over time, these gases start to build up in the atmosphere and absorb the sunlight that has bounced off of Earth’s surface. There are many sources as to where these gases come from. The most popular are from humans. Humans produce about two billion tons of CO2 every year from burning fossil fuels. We use fossil fuels for transportation, power plants, etc. People use gasoline to power their cars. Gasoline contains S. S+O2=SO2+Heat. SO2 has a pungent, toxic odor and it is very harmful to human health
It is always good to know what the cause of a problem is so we can attack it at its source. Must I announce to you that humans are the primary benefactor to the cause of global warming. According to whatstourimpact.org the cause of global warming is the increasing quality of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere produced by human activities, including deforestation, the burning of fossil fuels, and many more. The greenhouse effect has a natural balance of gases that is needed to trap heat here on earth so that It does not get too cold and can sustain life, but with the addition of increased human activities there is an abnormal level of gas that begin to accumulate in the air and begins to get trapped.
On of the biggest cause of climate change is carbon-dioxide which come primarily from the burning of coal for electricity and heat in transportation, and from the burning of coal, oil, and natural gas in industrial activity. Carbon dioxide produced in the burning of these fossil fuels have been hugely responsible for the climate crisis. That is why most discussion of how to solve the climate crisis mainly focuses on producing energy in ways that will not produce dangerous emissions of Carbon dioxide. The burning of oil, coil and natural gas is not only the largest source of carbon dioxide but it also is a source of increasing warming pollution.
To begin with, the major cause of global warming is the green house gases like carbon dioxide, methane which is present in the air and the major source of carbon dioxide is power plants because in these power plants there is large amount of carbon dioxide is produced from burning of fossil fuels for the production of electricity. Then, about twenty percent of carbon dioxide emitted in the atmosphere comes from burning of gasoline in the engines of the vehicles. Buildings, both commercial and residential represent a larger source of global warming pollution than cars and trucks.
