Should we provide our children with free time to engage in imaginative and creative play or more important to ensure that our children participate in organized activities? Well, my opinion I will ensure that my children participate in organized activities. Even though kids need to experience creative play to learn how to express themselves, become independent thinkers, and interact with peers, I believe that organized activities help children develop healthy attitudes toward themselves now and in the future.
In my experience, being in Hopeworks taught me the value of being on time, responsibility, working hard to accomplish a goal, building a dream plan, and most importantly having a safety plan. Being part of a organized activity allowed
There are benefits for children who play in organized activites and in creatively activites. Really there is nothing wrong with either one. Many people have there own inpinion but there is no or right answer. What activety would you have your child or children do?
Children learn and interact with their environment through physical movement, therefore young children must be provided with ample opportunities to be hands on and experience movement. Children must be involved in developmentally activities to improve competence, in gross and fine motor skills. Including a current amount of time for outside play for children to developed full body coordination .It’s also important for children learn about the world through their senses, sensory activities should be included into the curriculum to promote sensory exploration. Children should recognize faces and place that are familiar to them, develop preferences in what they see (Expressing likes and dislikes), along anticipating events from visual cues. Providing
I believe the benefits of children having organized activities where parents should be involved in helping there children create and develop skills .They will require to use in the future. You're teaching them structure , schedules how to be organized. Taking your child to baseball practice, swimming lessons teaches them about the commitment they made when they signed up. Teaching them at a young age helps them when they grow up.
Additionally in Source 2 states that ¨kids who play instruments are much more organised too¨.Likewise parents have less fights with their childrens because of not being organized. Also in Source 2 we find that ¨They learn how to manage their time ¨ refearing to the kids. With all honesty a funschool activity can hae good results at home too, and also helps childrens grow up being more responsible.
On the other hand those that agree that a child's play should be regulated, say organized activities help children develop healthy attitudes toward themselves now and in the future. Another point they make is being involved in a program requires commitment.
In this day and age I feel that children should be more involved in organized activities. There are many reasons for this to be said among them some of the main factors for the statement is today's technology, the ammount of time that is spent inside looking at a screen, and the over all antisocialness of children because of the freedom that they are given. Though there are good reasons to let children to be open, free and creative with what they do with their time controling what they should do with said time is a much better choice.
Children are like sponges who soak in all the information around them. They are also creative beings with imaginations. Should children have free creative play time? Should they participate in Organized Activites? Yes and Yes; I belive both are necessary for proper development.
I believe that children should participate in organized activities that they show interest in. Imagitive and creative play is important as well but if you pick the right activities your child can learn to be creative and more imagitive by just participating. If a kid wants to be good at something hes going to use whatever skills hes aquired to try his best.Children that dont have the freedom to choose activities based on their interest may not try to do their best because it doesnt really matter to them personally.
I would like to say that in the article that i read on the benefits of organized activities, that i agree with what was said. I also in personal experience have been part of many organized sports and clubs growing up. Although "creative play" is important i was always able to find some time as a kid to go play outside and do as i wanted with friends, even with all of the organized activities i was involved in.
From my point of view , I think a child should have a creative play as essential for their heath. But, now a days kids are growing so fast and learning what life is about , on such young age and thats is why I support the benefits of a organized activities.
What is the point of being a kid when all you have is structured activities and assignments? It is very crucial for children now-a-days to be able to express themselves for who they are and who they want to become. Creative activities provides what children need for finding out who they are and to develope skills that organized activities do not provide. Creative activities also creates a strong social connection that structured activities fail to provide. Children need to be able to have time during their day to spend having creative fun and creative activities.
Some say organized activities are the best ways to develop a child. Organized activities involve the child in social groups with friends or other young children that share the same interests. The activities teach discipline and respect as well as help the children set and meet goals. Social skills are also heavily used in Organized activities. Though, the activities take up most of the child's day, which causes less interaction with the child's family. They also may distract the child from school or other important situations.
I believe that it is more important to alow a child to focus more on creative play. Here are three statements that support my opinion, I think that creative play is apart of every childs childhood. Another reason is that a child can learn alot from playing creatively. My final reason is that creative play can teach a child to be a leader.
From my point of veiw,I do believe that childen creativly playing. Helps develops skills that would be use in early stages of leaning. It's also a good foundation on helping a child in life changing evants. For an exsample starting a new school, when of age a new job.Now that just mean for kids. Parents also play a big role getting involed as well. By helping teaching thier kids creative playing skills. It give the chidren a sense of identity and pride.Me being a mother of 5. I try my best to being involed, in my kids ability to play. An writing from experance. My fab 5 have accomplish having good manners, respect , great listening skills and teamwork. But most of they gained confidence in who they're and who they will
I believe that children should have some structure in their lives, and what individual doesn't need organized activities? Of course they need some routine in their lives, but that could start with when to brush their teeth and what time to go to sleep. Structure should not factor as much into their play time. Children need to have a certain amount of freedom, especially while they're playing. They need to be able to use their imagination to build a palace in their lives, or to fly to the moon in their spruced up rocket ship made out of the vaccum box.
