- This is because it is used to pick, pack and ship the orders through a system which could deliver any item to any operator at any time.
- In kiva approach, portable storage unit stores the item and if any orders are made in the kiva
database system, the software’s tracks the nearest automated guided vehicle and directs them to retrieve the item. - The robots move around the warehouse with the barcode attached as a sticker in order to avoid collision.
