Calculating power in the electoral college. After the 2010 census, California was apportioned 53 representatives. Adding its 2 senators gave it 55 votes in the electoral college. Similarly Texas had 38 votes, and Florida had 29. Assume for the moment that these were the only three states in the United States and calculate Banzhaf power index for each state. Assume that the quota in this weighted system is 62.
