Introduction:

B (bursa of Fabricius) and T (thymus) lymphocytes produce adaptive immunity in response to the foreign bodies which are invading the host cells. T lymphocytes are of three types. They are cytotoxic T cells, helper T cells, and the regulatory T cells. All of them have specific functions in providing immunity to the host.
