Concept Introduction:
Solubility is the quantity of solute (solid, liquid or gas) that will dissolve in a given amount of solvent (solid, liquid or gas) at definite temperature and pressure. Solubility depends on the physical and chemical property of solvent, solute and concentration of the solution.
Solubility is said to be one of the chemical property which implies that at equilibrium the maximum amount of solute dissolved in the solvent to gives solution called ‘saturated solution’.
Le Chatelier's principle states that if a system in equilibrium gets disturbed due to modification of concentration, temperature, volume, and pressure, then it reset to counteract the effect of disturbance.
Cation: The positively charged species present in the chemical compound is defined as cation.
Anion: It is the negatively charged species present in the chemical compound.
